The role requires a physician who is board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, with a strong preference for candidates who are already licensed in California.Position Details:

• Position: Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine)
• Location: Near Irvine, CA
• Schedule: ASAP - Ongoing
• Shift: 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
• Block Schedules: No block schedules
• Patient Load: 18-20 patients per day
• Practice Setting: Primary Care ClinicJob Responsibilities:
  • Patient Age Group: Care for all age groups, from children to geriatrics
  • Procedures: Perform minor in-office procedures such as cyst removal, laceration repair, and skin biopsies
  • EMR: Proficiency in Epic is highly preferred
  • Daily Schedule: 7 hours of patient-facing time with 1 hour dedicated to administrative tasksRequirements:
    • Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (Preferred but not required)
    • State License: Must hold a current and unrestricted California medical license
    • Certifications:
      • Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required)
      • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (Preferred)
      • DEA: Must have an active DEA certificate
      • Experience: Minimum of 6 months of recent outpatient Family Medicine primary care experience
      • Charting Experience: Experience with Epic EMR is highly preferred
      • Work Experience: Must have 2+ years of experience in outpatient primary careAdditional Job Details:
        • Support Staff: Full support staff available, including practice manager, front office supervisor, medical assistants, and patient care associates
        • Credentialing: The credentialing process is expected to take 4-6 weeks
        • Contract Length: 3+ months, with potential for extension
        • Vaccination Requirements: Vaccinations are optional, not mandatory
