Physician-Family Medicine (with OB)

Join Banner Health’s trusted team in Worland, Wyoming. This is an excellent opportunity for a Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible Family Medicine physician with Surgical OB trained to join our small‑town critical access hospital.

Position Highlights

• Family practice with obstetrics
• Support from medical assistants, front desk, and leadership
• Clinical responsibilities include care of all ages, wellness and chronic disease management, women’s health (including C‑sections and deliveries), and specialized procedures based on your interests
• Anticipate 50+ annual births; 20% C‑sections

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (ABMS)
• Completed Surgical OB training
• Patient‑focused, friendly, and collaborative
• Experience valued, but new graduates are encouraged to apply

Compensation & Benefits

• $325,000 base salary
• $100,000 educational loan repayment plus PSLF
• $60,000 sign‑on/relocation bonus
• Paid CME and malpractice insurance
• Excellent benefit package providing security for you and your family

• Resident stipend of up to $18,000 (available during final year of residency, starts after contract signing)
• Eligible for federal and state HPSA loan repayment programs

Washakie Medical Center in Worland, Wyoming, is an 18‑bed critical access hospital serving the residents of the Big Horn Basin. The county‑owned hospital has been operated by Banner Health and its predecessors since 1949 and is located a half‑mile from the Banner Health Clinic, allowing for close coordination between clinic and hospital teams.
