Pay: $261,600 – $324,350 per year | Job Type: Full-time or Part-time | Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM — no nights, no weekends, no hospital call

About the Opportunity
Our client is a well‑established, financially stable Tribal Federally Qualified Health Center that has served Native American and underserved communities across Placer and Nevada counties for roughly 50 years. With ~25,000 active patients today and a third clinic opening in South Placer County in early 2027, this is a growing system where early hires help shape workflows, culture, and the patient experience from day one.
What You’ll Do
- Provide full‑scope outpatient family medicine: adult and pediatric primary care, chronic disease management, and minor procedures
- Work within a team‑based, integrated care model alongside behavioral health, nursing, and pharmacy
- Provide clinical supervision and chart review for FNPs/PAs as needed
- Participate in the development of protocols and patient‑care initiatives
Qualifications
- MD or DO with an active California medical license (required upfront)
- Board Certified in Family Medicine (required for all medical providers)
- Current DEA registration
- 2+ years of clinical experience in direct primary care delivery
- BLS certification
- Sensitivity to Native American culture and health needs; cross‑cultural medicine experience a plus
Good to Know
- Credentialing takes ~90 days and is completed prior to start
- The role begins at the Auburn clinic and transfers to the new Rocklin facility when it opens (~March 2027)
