FAMILY MEDICINE PHYSICIAN— 0.6–1.0 FTE (Hibbing, Minnesota)

Practice Specifics

Join an experienced, progressive, well-respected primary care team (2 MDs, 3 NPs) with full diagnostic and therapeutic support services, including pharmacy, infusion services and rehabilitative services for adult and pediatric patients.

Mentoring is provided to new physicians. OB is optional.

• Zero Call model: All after-hours call (excluding OB, hospital and SUD/MOUD) is covered by a separate call team.
• 36 patient contact hours per week.
• Outpatient practice.
• Full complement of visiting specialties including:
• Surgical and Medical Orthopedics
• Oncology
• General Surgery
• Audiology
• Nephrology
• Urology
• Cardiology
• Weight Management
• Occupational Medicine

Hometown environment with support of a large health system. Option for less than full‑time employment. EPIC medical records.

Location

Hibbing is known for its scenic lakes and forests, as well as a rich and diverse history. It is also a center for mining operations and offers recreational opportunities including hunting, fishing and other outdoor activities. Outdoor enthusiasts appreciate proximity to the wilderness of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area and the extensive network of cross‑country ski, snowshoe, and snowmobile trails. Hibbing has excellent public and private schools and a community college and technical school. Both high school and college sports are popular and supported by the community. The town has ethnic and cultural diversity and is a well‑rounded place to raise a family. It is approximately 75 miles northwest of Duluth/Superior. Population: 18,000 (service area: 52,000).

Compensation

Base salary $323,400. Eligible for bonuses, quality incentives or production‑based compensation.
