Physician -Family Medicine

We are seeking a full‑time Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join an established outpatient clinic within a nationally recognized health system.

Job Overview

• Provide full‑spectrum outpatient primary care to adult and/or family medicine patients.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage both acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Conduct preventive care visits, annual wellness examinations, and routine follow‑ups.
• Develop long‑term treatment plans and facilitate coordination of care with specialists as necessary.
• Document clinical interactions comprehensively and timely using the EPIC EMR system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve high‑quality patient outcomes.
• Participate in shared on‑call responsibilities as designated.
• Meet productivity expectations encompassing 36 weekly patient‑contact hours.
• Allocate 4 administrative hours weekly for charting, care coordination, and ancillary tasks.
• Deliver evidence‑based, patient‑centered care within a supportive outpatient clinic environment.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to established organizational standards of care.
• Cultivate strong relationships with patients and the local community.
• Support continuity of care and engage in patient education initiatives.
• Comply with all organizational requirements related to compliance, credentialing, and clinical standards.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• For Board Eligible candidates, board certification must be achieved within three years.
• Active Michigan medical license or the willingness to obtain one.
• DEA certification required.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CSL.
• Clean malpractice history and licensing profile.
• Proven experience with EPIC EMR.
• Availability to work a Monday–Friday schedule.

• Submission of the most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active).
• Candidates who are graduating in 2026 and 2027 are welcome to apply, with the understanding that board certification will be required within three years post‑graduation.
