Physician - Family Medicine

Overview

HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a BC or BE Family Medicine Physician to join our Primary Care team in Decatur, IL. The position is outpatient-focused with strong community support.

Practice Highlights

• Well established, growing practice with strong community support
• 100% Outpatient Practice
• Monday-Friday schedule with an option of a 4- or 5-day work week
• Minimal call with group shared call; call is phone-based only
• No holidays or weekends
• Strong support staff
• EPIC EMR

Position Requirements

• Unrestricted Illinois license prior to start
• Board Certified or Board Eligible

Compensation & Benefits Package

• 2 year base guarantee
• Sign-On bonus, housing incentive, and relocation assistance
• Residency stipends available for those finishing residency
• 20 days off + 6 holidays per year
• CME reimbursement and days per fiscal year
• Productivity and quality bonuses opportunities
• Pay range: $300,000-$399,406 (inclusive of family and internal med, based on experience)

Education Qualifications

• Clinical doctorate is required

Experience Qualifications

• Competence in the delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients is required

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• Licensed physician in the state of practice is required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required
• Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA when applicable
• Must have successfully completed, or be in the process of completing, an accredited residency program
• Must be board certified or board eligible
