Ascension St. John Jane Phillips Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine physician to join our growing primary care team in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide medical services to patients in an assigned area.
- Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
- Recommend, participate in, and work to ensure success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care.
- Participate in academic programs (e.g., medical education and research) as requested.
- Provide documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner.
- Opportunity to participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on-call schedules.
Requirements
- Physician MD/DO with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
Education
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
Additional Preferences
Must be board certified or board eligible.
