West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Medicine seek Endocrinologist qualified for appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank. The successful candidate will practice in Morgantown, WV and/or Southpointe, PA, and conduct telemedicine for inpatient coverage at Uniontown Hospital, Thomas Memorial Hospital and/or other locations.


Clinical Responsibilities



  • The successful candidate will practice in the area of Endocrinology.

  • In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.

  • Opportunities exist to participate in clinical and translational research.


Qualifications



  • MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain a state medical license.

  • Board certified / eligible in internal medicine.

  • Completed an accredited internal medicine residency program and an endocrinology fellowship program by the time of appointment.

  • All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

  • For appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor rank, it is expected that the candidate sustains an outstanding, extramurally supported research program.
