Academic Endocrinologist position in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center. Academic rank and track commensurate with record and experience.
Position Overview
The Division actively recruits an endocrinologist with interest or expertise in pituitary/adrenal disorders. This academic clinical track emphasizes patient care for endocrine patients, instruction of medical students, residents, and fellows, and scholarly activities such as quality improvement and clinical research.

The Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism is recognized for excellence in clinical care and research. It focuses on adrenal and pituitary disorders, thyroid cancer, diabetes, metabolic bone disease, obesity, women’s health, and other hormone conditions. The Division is supported by the College of Medicine, Wexner Medical Center, and the James Cancer Hospital.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care to endocrine patients, with a focus on adrenal and pituitary disorders.
- Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Engage in basic or clinical research.
- Consult via e‑consults and inpatient consults.
Requirements
- Doctorate degree (MD or DO).
- Board Certification or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
- Eligibility for academic appointment at the assistant professor, associate professor, or professor level (academic rank and salary commensurate with experience).
