Physician - Endocrinologist

Crystal Run Healthcare, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a dedicated, patient‑centric full‑time Endocrinologist to join our growing team in the New York suburbs of Middletown, NY.

Primary Responsibilities

• Investigate, diagnose, and treat a full range of endocrine system disorders, including diabetes, hyperthyroidism, osteoporosis, and thyroid disorders
• Provide comprehensive, state‑of‑the‑art diabetes care using a team‑based approach
• Perform on‑site osteoporosis screening, thyroid laboratory testing, imaging, and biopsies as needed
• Offer comprehensive medical and procedural endocrine care within a team of highly skilled endocrinologists and advanced practice clinicians
• Consult with patients about the status of their endocrine health, providing up‑to‑date advancements in care
• Collaborate with the outpatient office and hospital for patient rounds and post‑surgery oversight
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to determine the best treatment options
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment plans
• Proficiency or comfort with thyroid biopsies is highly preferred but not required

Required Qualifications

• Completion (or in‑process) of an accredited fellowship training program in endocrinology or relevant subspecialty
• Board certification in endocrinology and any additional relevant subspecialties
• Unrestricted New York State medical license (or ability to obtain)
• Current New York State DEA certificate (or ability to obtain)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency or comfort with thyroid biopsies

The salary range for this role is $208,000 to $352,000 annually based on full‑time employment. Total cash compensation at target includes base and bonus, variable based on experience and metric achievement.
