Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician
We are seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity at well-supported community hospitals. This position offers flexible scheduling with a particular need for night, weekend, and holiday coverage.
Position Details
- Ongoing locum assignment
- 8-10 shifts per month available
- Mix of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts
- No call required
- EPIC EMR
- Community hospital and Level III trauma environment
- Strong specialty backup available
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Completion of an Emergency Medicine residency
- Board Certified Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM)
- Active state license or IMLC eligibility
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Ability to obtain hospital privileges
Ideal Candidate
- Comfortable managing a broad spectrum of emergency cases
- Experienced with standard EM procedures including airway management and central line placement
- Interested in consistent ongoing coverage opportunities
