Physician, Division Chief, Pediatric Cardiology

Overview

Division Chief of Pediatric Cardiology position with appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor rank. Location: Morgantown, WV.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Pediatric Cardiology Program at the expanding Children’s Heart Center.
• Provide excellent patient care and actively participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Manage clinical duties and balance responsibilities for all pediatric cardiologists.
• Lead collaboration with the cardiothoracic surgery program.
• Head the state-wide community outreach clinic program.
• Mentor younger faculty members on quality improvement and research efforts.
• Oversee the educational program for students, residents, and other learners.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent; eligible for state medical license.
• Completed pediatrics residency and pediatric cardiology fellowship.
• Board certified in Pediatric Cardiology.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
