Quick Facts: Location: Duluth, MN Start Date: 09/24/2026 End Date/Duration: Multiple dates through April 2027 (see below) Shift: Monday Friday, 7:40 am 4:40 pm (15-20 min appointments, includes lunch break) Hours/Week: 40 hours per week Employment Type: Contract / Locum Tenens License/Certifications: Medical license required (state-specific) Experience: Prior dermatology experience preferred Pay & Benefits: Competitive pay at up to $400/hour Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You ll Do: Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with benign and malignant skin disorders of all ages Manage skin cancers, moles, and tumors via diagnosis and treatment Consult on contact dermatitis, allergic skin issues, infectious diseases, and cosmetic concerns such as hair loss and aging skin Perform dermatologic surgeries including biopsies, excisions, electrosurgery, cryosurgery, and skin repairs (no Mohs or cosmetic surgery) Interpret microscopy and lab results related to skin conditions Provide in-person and virtual patient consultations Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality dermatological care What You Need: Medical license valid in Minnesota Prior dermatology experience preferred Skills in diagnosis and treatment of skin conditions, surgical procedures, and patient consultation Strong communication and interpersonal skills About the Assignment: This position is based at a leading facility in Duluth, Minnesota, offering in-clinic and virtual dermatology services. The provider will handle patient evaluations, perform skin biopsies, excisions, and other dermatologic procedures, and deliver patient-centered care with a focus on quality and professionalism.
