Position Overview

The Department of Radiology seeks a faculty Emergency Radiologist who will provide patient care, conduct research, and train graduate and postgraduate students.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Availability on site in the Emergency Department as needed; remote shifts are possible.
• Contribute to day‑to‑day clinical operations of the Emergency Radiology Division:
  • Provide high‑quality patient care in the Emergency Service.
  • Contribute to clinical and imaging operations related to the Emergency Service.
• Education, Training, and Faculty Development:
  • Provide clinical instruction, lectures, seminars, and related educational offerings within OSUWMC and regionally/nationally.
  • Collaborate with faculty and leadership to develop and refine training opportunities for medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Serve as mentor and sponsor of residents, fellows, and faculty.
• Research and Scholarship:
  • Support clinical and translational research activities and innovation.
  • Serve as PI or Co‑I in grants and/or clinical trials.
  • Serve on departmental and institutional committees to represent research and innovation interests.

Requirements

• M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent.
• Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Radiology (ABR, ABOR).
• Completion of a subspecialty fellowship in Diagnostic Radiology or relevant experience in Emergency Radiology at time of appointment.
• Must possess or be eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio.

Compensation Package

• Salary: Commensurate with experience; includes bonus and relocation assistance.
