Position Overview
The Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seeks a full‑time, Board Certified/Eligible Microsurgeon. Clinical responsibilities will focus on advancing the complex extremity and orthoplastic reconstruction program, and leadership positions are available for program development and clinical innovation. The candidate will also engage in teaching and mentorship of residents and medical students. Prior experience building multidisciplinary programs is strongly preferred. Academic rank and track will be commensurate with academic record and experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high‑quality patient care.
- Deliver clinical and didactic education to learners at all levels.
- Adhere to all other duties and guidelines of the Department and the Chair as assigned.
Requirements
- MD or DO.
- Successful completion of an accredited Plastic Surgery Residency Program.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Plastic Surgery.
- Successful completion of a Microsurgery Fellowship, or equivalent experience.
- Eligible for an Ohio Medical License.
