ABOUT THE ROLE:

WVUHS Medical Group seeks a board-certified physician to serve asDirector of the Internal Medicine Residency Continuity Clinic atThomas Hospital. This physician leader will oversee day-to-dayclinical operations, ensure high-quality, coordinated patient care,and collaborate with administrative and academic partners toadvance the clinic's educational and community health mission. Theposition includes a blend of direct patient care, leadershipresponsibilities and residency education.

QUALIFICATIONS

• MD or DO degree with board certification in InternalMedicine
• Active or eligible West Virginia medical licensure
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to community and underserved patientpopulations
• All Qualifications must be met by the time of appointment

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct and supervise continuity clinic operations and clinicalstaff
• Ensure quality, safety, and patient satisfaction benchmarks aremet
• Provide mentorship to residents and advanced practiceproviders
• Partner with GME leadership on training programintegration
• Drive quality improvement and evidence-based careinitiatives
• Engage in strategic planning with hospital administration
• Maintain an active patient panel and provide direct care
