Physician Compensation & Finance AnalystThe Physician Compensation & Finance Analyst is responsible for supporting the administration, analysis, processing, and monitoring of provider compensation programs for employed physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs). This position collaborates with physician leadership, finance, payroll, operations, and human resources to ensure compensation plans are competitive, compliant, financially sustainable, and aligned with organizational goals.Essential FunctionsAnalyze physician and APP compensation arrangements including productivity, salary, shift-based, and incentive compensation modelsProcess provider compensation payroll accurately and timely in coordination with payroll and finance departmentsValidate payroll calculations related to wRVUs, collections, call pay, shift pay, quality incentives, bonuses, and applicable modifiersPrepare recurring compensation reports, dashboards, variance analyses, and financial summariesSupport Fair Market Value (FMV) reviews utilizing benchmark survey data including MGMA and AMGAValidate provider productivity metrics including wRVUs, collections, modifiers, and quality incentive measuresAssist in development of financial pro formas related to provider recruitment, acquisitions, and service line expansionCollaborate with payroll and operational leaders to resolve compensation discrepancies and ensure accurate provider paymentsAssist with preparation of materials for executive leadership and compensation committee reviewMaintain compensation documentation, policies, procedures, and audit support materialsIdentify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies within provider compensation administration and payroll processingEnsure adherence to organizational policies and applicable regulatory requirements including Stark Law and Anti-Kickback considerationsMinimum QualificationsThis position requires relocation to Tallahassee, FloridaEducationBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field requiredExperienceMinimum of three (3) years of experience in healthcare finance, physician compensation, provider payroll processing, provider operations, or related analytical role requiredExperience working with physician productivity and compensation methodologies preferredExperience with healthcare reimbursement and medical group operations preferredKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelingKnowledge of payroll processing and provider compensation administrationStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to interpret and communicate complex financial and compensation dataKnowledge of physician compensation structures and productivity metrics preferredAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departmentsAbility to maintain confidentiality and exercise professional judgmentPreferred QualificationsExperience with Epic, Workday, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or similar reporting systems preferredKnowledge of MGMA, AMGA, SullivanCotter, or other compensation benchmark surveys preferredWorking ConditionsPrimarily office-based environmentProlonged periods of sitting and computer useOccasional travel for meetings or organizational initiatives may be requiredPhysical RequirementsAbility to remain stationary for extended periodsAbility to communicate effectively verbally and in writingAbility to operate standard office equipment and computer systemsTallahassee Memorial HealthCare is an equal opportunity employer and drug-free workplace.
