We are seeking a skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon for an exciting 21-day assignment in Pennsylvania, starting Jun 15, 2026. This role involves primarily on‑call and surgical/inpatient coverage, with daily responsibilities including diverse surgical procedures, inpatient consults, and CVICU rounding on post‑operative patients. Typical days begin around 7:00 AM and conclude by 5:00 PM, focusing on advanced cardiothoracic cases.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform surgical procedures including CABG, AVR, MVR, ECMO, Single Chamber Pacers, and Thoracic surgery.
- Conduct inpatient consults.
- Manage CVICU rounding on post‑operative patients.
- Provide primarily on‑call and surgical/inpatient coverage.
- Round on consults and surgical cases.
Additional Information
- Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery required.
- Experience with Epic EMR system.
- Must have 2 years of case logs.
- Work will be within a Trauma environment.
