Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Physician specializing in Cardiothoracic Surgery for a 30‑day assignment in Ohio, commencing September 14, 2026. This role primarily involves call coverage and rounding, along with performing a range of complex cardiothoracic surgical procedures to manage diverse patient needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive call coverage and rounding.
- Perform general cardiovascular/thoracic surgery.
- Conduct coronary artery bypass surgery (on pump).
- Execute valvular repair and cardiac aneurysm repair procedures.
- Perform lung resections, including VATs, and CABG.
- Evaluate and manage acute volume and blood pressure issues.
- Insert central lines, arterial lines, and PA catheters.
- Manage approximately 10 patient encounters per shift within a 28‑bed department.
Qualifications
- Board Certification: Cardiothoracic Surgery.
- EMR: Meditech EHR.
