We are seeking a skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a 5‑day assignment starting Oct 8, 2026, in Indiana. The physician will handle 24‑hour shifts, performing morning surgeries, afternoon office hours, and rounding on post‑operative ICU patients. Responsibilities also include responding to calls from the Cath Lab, inpatient units, and ER for urgent procedures such as CABG/AVR.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform surgical procedures during morning hours.
- Conduct office hours in the afternoons.
- Round on and oversee post‑operative patients in the ICU, typically managing approximately 2‑5 patients at one time.
- Take calls from the Cath Lab, inpatient units, and the emergency room.
- Complete urgent procedures including CABG/AVR as necessary.
- Review films upon request from cardiologists in the Cath Lab.
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
- Experience with Epic EMR System.
