About The Role

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant – First Assist to join our Vascular Surgery Specialists team in Fort Worth. This is a full-time position supporting advanced heart and vascular care, with a primary focus on assisting in the OR, including vein harvesting and other surgical procedures.

The ideal candidate must have prior operating room experience , preferably with vein harvesting , and a strong interest in cardiology and vascular surgery. You will play a vital role in delivering minimally invasive treatments and surgical therapies in a high-volume, collaborative, and patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities

• First assist in vascular and cardiology surgeries
• Perform vein harvesting procedures
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care
• Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and clinical teams to ensure optimal outcomes
• Support inpatient and outpatient care, patient education, and follow-up
• Participate in clinical rounds and documentation

Qualifications

• EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program
• EXPERIENCE - More than 1 year of experience in vein harvesting.
