McLeod Vascular Associates is seeking a Physician Assistant.
Qualifications and Training
- Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies or equivalent.
- State of South Carolina Physician Assistant certification.
- Prescriptive privileges or eligibility to apply.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional image and exhibit excellent customer relations with patients, visitors, physicians, and coworkers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
- Assess patient needs based on history, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic data.
- Record physical findings and formulate plans and prognoses based on patient condition.
- Plan, implement, and coordinate care to meet the holistic, age‑specific needs of patients.
- Foster an environment that demonstrates caring, compassion, and respect for all patients, families, and visitors.
- Demonstrate professionalism and integrity.
- Perform physical examinations and preventative health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of the physician.
- Discuss cases with the physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plans.
