Join Our Outpatient Urology Team
Signature Healthcare is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA) to join our outpatient Urology practice in Brockton, Massachusetts. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and compassionate provider who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative clinical environment.
The Physician Assistant will work closely with our urologists to provide comprehensive outpatient care for patients with a wide range of urologic conditions.
Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic urologic conditions in an outpatient setting.
Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations.
Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic evaluations.
Perform office-based urologic procedures within the scope of practice.
Provide follow-up care, patient education, and counseling regarding treatment options and preventive care.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure exceptional patient care.
Assist the physicians with following up on test results, imaging results, patient questions, and other clinical communications as needed.
Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record.
Optional Hospital Call Opportunity
While hospital call is not a requirement of this position, PAs who are interested in additional clinical opportunities may have the option to pick up hospital call shifts for additional compensation.
This optional opportunity may include weekend or other hospital call shifts, providing flexibility for providers who would like the opportunity to earn additional income while expanding their clinical experience.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Current Massachusetts Physician Assistant license (or eligibility for licensure).
NCCPA certification required.
DEA registration (or eligibility).
Previous experience in Urology is strongly preferred. Candidates with experience in surgical or specialty outpatient practice will also be considered.
