Physician Assistant – Urology (Full-Time)
Signature Healthcare is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA) to join our outpatient Urology practice in Brockton, Massachusetts. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and compassionate provider who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative clinical environment.
The Physician Assistant will work closely with our urologists to provide comprehensive outpatient care for patients with a wide range of urologic conditions.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic urologic conditions in an outpatient setting.
- Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic evaluations.
- Perform office-based urologic procedures within the scope of practice.
- Provide follow-up care, patient education, and counseling regarding treatment options and preventive care.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure exceptional patient care.
- Assist the physicians with following up on test results, imaging results, patient questions, and other clinical communications as needed.
- Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record.
Optional Hospital Call Opportunity
- While hospital call is not a requirement of this position, PAs who are interested in additional clinical opportunities may have the option to pick up hospital call shifts for additional compensation.
- This optional opportunity may include weekend or other hospital call shifts, providing flexibility for providers who would like the opportunity to earn additional income while expanding their clinical experience.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current Massachusetts Physician Assistant license (or eligibility for licensure).
- NCCPA certification required.
- DEA registration (or eligibility).
- Previous experience in Urology is strongly preferred. Candidates with experience in surgical or specialty outpatient practice will also be considered.
