Physician Assistant – AFC Urgent Care (Torrance)

Duties

• Provide high quality patient care within the scope of a PA.
• Manage all patient care while on shift.
• Supervise staff while on shift.
• Ensure all charts are filled out and medical records are completed in a timely fashion.
• Process biological specimens when needed.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Position Details

• Per Diem opportunity.
• Energetic self‑starter who can work independently and contribute to a team environment.
• Comfortable in a range of settings: small group office and large group organizational settings.
• Flexibility in shifts to develop and manage a patient panel.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible – Emergency Room, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine is a plus but not required.
• Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Active and current medical licensure in the state of practice.
• Active and current DEA number and state‑controlled substance certificate, as needed.
• Ability to multi‑task and work independently.

Pay

Pay based on experience.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $65.00 – $80.00 per hour
