Job Summary

We are seeking a Surgical Physician Assistant to join our team! As a Physician Assistant, you will be assisting in the Operating Room, and examining pre and post op surgical patients. The ideal candidate has an excellent bedside manner, experience in a medical and surgical environment, and has strong communication and interpersonal skills. Two Years Of Experience In The OR Preferred. Current NYS Physician Assistant License required along with at least 1 year of clinical rotation in various medical, surgical and other specialty areas.

Responsibilities

\
• Writing orders for medications
\
• Reviewing lab results
\
• Providing post-discharge instructions
\
• Initiating and documenting patient plan of care
\
• Work closely with nurses, other Physician Assistants, and Physicians to formulate a full, comprehensive treatment plan
\

Qualifications

• Valid state licensing required
\
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience with medical terminology and charting,

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
