Job Title: Physician Assistant – Surgery

Location: Jacobi – Bronx, NY 10461 (North Central Bronx Hospital & Jacobi Medical Center)

Position Type: Regular Full‑Time

Shift: 1 (Day) – 40‑hour work week

Salary Range: $131,127 – $174,836 per year (based on years of state licensure)

Responsibilities

• Perform history and physical examinations
• Order diagnostic tests based on assessments
• Develop treatment plans
• Prescribe drugs and other therapies
• Make referrals as necessary
• Document findings in the electronic medical record
• Consult with supervising medical provider when appropriate
• Provide counseling to patients and families regarding care
• Review and respond to referrals from within and outside the clinic

Qualifications

• Current New York State registration as a Physician Assistant
• Current certification issued by the NCCPA

Compensation Package

• Base Salary: $131,127* – $174,836*
• 401(k) Company Contribution:
  • Immediate 3% match of base earnings (no employee match required)
  • After one year of service, additional 7% match of base earnings (no employee match required)
