Physician Assistant – General Surgery
Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts – a member of Trinity Health Of New England – seeks a full‑time Physician Assistant to join our Surgical Services Team.
We are looking for a self‑motivated PA knowledgeable in general surgery and comfortable working across all surgical subspecialties. The role includes night coverage, peri‑operative management, ER evaluation, admission, and first assisting in the operating room.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program eligible to be licensed as a Certified PA in Massachusetts.
- Current federal DEA registration and eligibility for Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration.
- Certification by NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants).
- Experience in an acute‑care/surgical setting or completion of a Postgraduate Surgical Residency program. Highly motivated new graduates welcome.
