Job Description

Position Overview: The School of Medicine, Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, isexcited to announce an opening for a Nurse Practitioner orPhysician Assistant specializing in Cardiovascular Medicine . Joinour expanding team and provide exceptional medical care primarilyin our cardiology clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently provide professional medical support forCardiovascular Medicine services.
• Collaborate with physicians and hospital staff to promoteteam-based patient care.
• Educate patients and set treatment plans, ensuring adherence toprescribed therapies. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatmentaccordingly. Act as a resource for patients, families, nursingstaff and other healthcare professionals.
• Conduct comprehensive health assessments and demonstrate autonomyin the diagnosis and treatment of health problems.
• Order/perform diagnostic procedures as needed.
• Develop discharge plans and coordinate with caremanagement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Shift

Monday – Friday

8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications

Physicians Assistant (PA) licensure by the Missouri State Board ofRegistration for the Healing Arts.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $90,251 - $147,284.80 annually

Grade: PAT - 012
