Physician Assistant

Prominent minimally-invasive spine surgery practice seeking an enthusiastic, outgoing, and compassionate physician assistant who is not only skilled in medical practice but also interested in educational social media marketing. Ideal candidate should be licensed, have exceptional customer service skills, and be sociable. We are looking for a team player who has a passion for orthopedics and enjoys interacting with patients and the public through various platforms.

Responsibilities include:

• Examining patients in the clinic with the physician (clinics range from 2 to 4 times per week) and via telemedicine
• Assisting with surgery if surgical PA is out
• Answering medical-related phone calls and calling patients
• Back office administrative tasks (reviewing radiology reports, e-prescribing, prepping for clinic)
• Various projects to improve both the practice and service to our patients
• Leading Team Meetings with administrative staff on how to improve clinic flow
• Assisting with Weekend Call (surgeon takes call, but may need assistance in placing orders in hospital portals or e-prescriptions; we do not take trauma call)
• Participating in social media marketing with our marketing team

Requirements:

• CA licensed
• Exceptional customer service and oral communication/telephone skills
• Punctuality
• Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office programs
• Energetic, engaging, sociable, and enthusiastic

We are looking for a Physician Assistant to start as soon as possible. This is a full-time position and includes:

• 401k with 3% SHNE
• PTO and paid holidays

Salary: $120,000 to $155,000 per year. Compensation commensurate with experience.
