Position Title: Physician Assistant

Salary: $75/hr plus Overtime and Malpractice Coverage

Position Overview

Accelerated Urgent Care has been voted Best Urgent Care eight years in a row in Bakersfield, CA. We currently have 18 clinics located throughout Southern and Central California to serve all your urgent care needs. We are hiring a part‑time Physician Assistant for our newest Los Angeles, CA (Century City) location.

Key Responsibilities

• Urgent Care Medicine, practicing twelve‑hour (12) shifts with a 1‑hour break.
• PRN will be a minimum of 4 shifts per month with one weekend per month (8 am to 9 pm).
• Treat 4 patients per hour from newborns to geriatrics (full spectrum care) in a low‑acuity setting.
• Bread & Butter Procedures: I&Ds, Toenail Removal, and Laceration Repair.
• Equipment: In‑house Point‑of‑Care testing and X‑ray. All X‑rays are over‑read by a Board‑Certified Radiologist, with results available within 20 minutes for routine orders.
• Easy‑to‑use EMR: VelociDoc with Dragon dictation, document patients in 1 minute.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal MSN FNP Program or MS in Health Sciences, Physician Assistant Studies.
• CA Medical License that is active and in good standing.
• DEA Certificate.
• One year of relevant urgent care experience.

Working Hours

12‑hour shifts, 6 shifts per month.
