Physician Assistant - Pulmonary

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Physician Assistant - Pulmonary / Critical Care to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln.

Opportunity Details

• Able to work evenings and weekends.
• Collaborates to provide care coordination activities in providing comprehensive care (e.g., other healthcare providers, local health departments, social services, nutritionist, dentist, community-based organizations, home care and patient education groups).
• Provides relevant health education and instructions, counsels patients/family on the impact of illness and principles of health promotion and maintenance.
• Provides clinical and didactic instruction to professional staff, peers, students and community groups and conducts in-service educational programs, as needed.
• Participates in departmental meetings and interdisciplinary community committees, as well as peer review performance improvement meeting activities.
• Peer review.
• Refer to specialty services.
• Care gaps/Care gap metrics.
• Completion of assigned work ques in EPIC.
