A well-established, high-end plastic surgery practice in Calabasas, CA is seeking an experienced and motivated Physician Assistant to join its growing team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a PA who thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment and is passionate about aesthetic and reconstructive care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the plastic surgeon in the operating room with cosmetic and reconstructive procedures
- Conduct patient consultations, evaluations, and follow-up visits
- Perform pre-operative and post-operative patient care and education
- Develop and implement treatment plans under physician supervision
- Perform in-office procedures and injections
- Manage patient documentation and maintain accurate medical records
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, clinical protocols, and best practices
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to deliver exceptional patient care
Qualifications
- NCCPA certification required
- Prior experience in plastic surgery, aesthetics, or surgical specialties strongly preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and procedural skills
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
- Professional, detail-oriented, and team-focused mindset
- Licensure/Certification:
- Current and unrestricted state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in California.
- National certification (AANP/ANCC for NP, NCCPA for PA).
- Current BLS and ACLS certification.
