Our Nashville outpatient orthopedic surgery center is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing surgical team. Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-assist support in orthopedic surgical procedures within an outpatient surgery center.
• Perform pre‑operative evaluations and post‑operative assessments as needed.
• Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, anesthesia providers, RNs, and surgical techs.
• Perform wound closure, tissue handling, and other intraoperative duties.
• Support efficient surgical flow and ensure high‑quality patient care and safety.
• Document clearly and thoroughly within the EMR and support continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program .
• Current PA-C certification (NCCPA).
• Valid Tennessee PA license (or eligibility to obtain).
• Orthopedic surgery or surgical first assist experience preferred .
• Strong understanding of sterile technique, surgical workflow, and orthopedic procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• 4×10-hour shifts , consistent weekdays.
• Outpatient orthopedic surgical setting—no inpatient responsibilities.
