Job Details
- Join a quickly growing Electrophysiology team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in an ambulatory setting
- Evaluate new patients with various cardiac rhythm problems and assess and manage arrhythmia patients
- Perform pre-admission testing for cardiac EP procedures
- Conduct cardiac implantable electronic device (CIED) checks and remote monitoring for CIEDs
- Facilitate work up and therapeutic procedures including pacemakers, implantable defibrillators, and catheter ablation procedures
- Initiate patient care meetings with the healthcare team to revise the plan of care as the patient's condition warrants
- Participate in total quality management to positively affect patient and system outcomes
- Work across multiple locations throughout Connecticut, with main location in Wallingford and additional location at Hartford Hospital
- Full-time, Monday through Friday schedule
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Master's program preferred
- Must be licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Physician Assistant or APRN in the state of Connecticut
- Certification or eligibility for certification as a Physician Assistant or National Board Certification as an APRN through AACN or ANCC required
- Cardiology experience preferred; Electrophysiology experience is a strong preference
- Cardiac device management experience highly preferred
- EPIC EMR utilized
