Qualifications
- Active Georgia license as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner which allows dispensing of medications and prescribing of controlled substances.
- The possession of excellent interpersonal skills and empathy towards patients.
- The ability to relate to a culturally diverse group of patients and community.
- The ability to develop teaching and counseling sessions, as needed.
- The ability to adapt to changing situations and circumstances.
- Willingness and ability to assume and delegate the needs of clinic patients, as a member of the health care team.
- The ability to perform minor procedures such as laceration repair, splinting, incision and drainage, wound care, ear irrigation and foreign body removal, pelvic exams, etc.
