Are you a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and families?

Thunder Bay Community Health Service, Inc. (TBCHS) is looking for a dedicated PA/NP to join our team and provide compassionate, high-quality care to our community.

At TBCHS, you'll have the opportunity to build meaningful patient relationships while providing comprehensive medical care in a collaborative healthcare environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a PA/NP, you'll provide general medical care and treatment while working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Your responsibilities will include:

Assessing patients' health and providing preventive healthcare.

Evaluating and treating urgent and emergent medical conditions within your scope.

Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests.

Prescribing medications and recommending appropriate treatments.

Referring patients to physicians and specialty resources when needed.

Developing and documenting individualized plans of care.

Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

Monitoring patient goals and outcomes.

Supervising interns as assigned.

Maintaining compliance with Michigan licensing requirements and completing required CME.

Providing professional, timely, and patient-centered care.

New graduates are welcome to apply! Experience may include prior clinical practice or recent graduation from an accredited program with pending certification.

QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program .

Current, valid Michigan PA-C or NP license .

National and/or state certification as required by TBCHS.

Must be in good standing with applicable regulatory boards.

Current DEA registration .

BLS certification required at hire.

Site-to-site travel is required.
