Job Description

Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners are invited to join Appalachian Mountain Health, a Federally Qualified Health Center network based in Asheville, NC. This position delivers quality‑focused primary care services to underserved populations across six sites in Western North Carolina.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner degree from an accredited institution.
• Current North Carolina PA-C or NP license.
• CAQ certification.
• CPR certification.
• At least one year of experience in a primary‑care setting functioning at the full extent of training and licensure.
• Strong commitment to practicing in a community health setting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, critical thinking, ability to handle stressful situations, and capacity to function independently.
• High degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision‑making to achieve AMH’s mission.
