The successful candidate will work evenings Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Southaven Walk‑In Clinic. The PA will also have two AM surgery blocks as well.

Qualifications
Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Current and unrestricted PA-C certification.
Active state license as a Physician Assistant (or ability to obtain prior to start) in both Mississippi and Tennessee.
BLS and ACLS certification (required or obtained upon hire).
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in orthopedics, sports medicine, emergency medicine, or related specialty preferred.
Strong clinical assessment skills and familiarity with orthopedic procedures and terminology.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient‑service skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced clinic with a steady patient volume.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examination, and documentation.
Assist orthopedic surgeons with evaluation and management of both acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X‑rays, MRIs, and laboratory work within the PA’s scope of practice.
Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, post‑operative care, and rehabilitation expectations.
Conduct wound checks, suture/staple removal, brace/orthotic fitting, and other minor clinical procedures.
Formulate and document treatment plans in the electronic medical record (EMR) in accordance with organizational standards.
Manage end‑of‑day clinic flow, including closing patient encounters and ensuring all follow‑up actions are clearly communicated.
Collaborate with clinical support staff to maintain a smooth and efficient evening clinic environment.
Support after‑hours patient needs within scope and in alignment with organizational protocols.
Maintain compliance with all regulatory, licensing, and organizational policies and procedures.
