Position Details

Physician Assistant – Neurology. Full‑time position in the Physician Assistant department at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health, 2601 Ocean Parkway, Brooklyn, NY 11235.

Salary range: $131,127 – $174,836 per year.

Responsibilities

• Assist with outpatient clinics, coordination of patients in the emergency room, and inpatient patient management.
• Liaise with Emergency Medicine and Medicine Department staff.
• Perform history and physical examinations and order diagnostic tests based on assessments.
• Develop treatment plans and prescribe drugs and other therapies, as needed.
• Consult with supervising medical provider when appropriate.
• Flexible daytime schedule – new graduates welcome.

Qualifications & Compensation

Annual Base Salary: $131,127* – $174,836* based on a 40‑hour work week and years of State licensure.

Estimated total compensation package: $144,239** – $192,319** (includes salary, 401(k) contribution, and other benefits).
