Responsibilities
Pediatrix® Medical Group is excited to welcome a Neonatal Physician Assistant to our well‑established and highly respected practice at Golisano Children’s Hospital, the premier children’s hospital serving Southwest Florida. This is a unique opportunity to practice high‑acuity neonatal care in a state‑of‑the‑art facility while enjoying an exceptional Gulf Coast lifestyle.
- 70‑bed, Level III NICU with advanced technology and a collaborative care model
- Primary responsibilities include attending coverage in the Level III NICU
- Occasional Level I coverage including well‑baby care with home‑back‑up coverage
- High‑risk delivery service coverage
- 12‑hour shifts with an option for 24‑hour shifts based on prior experience
- Supportive team of 10 Neonatologists and 10 NNPs
- Full range of subspecialty services available (excluding cardiovascular surgery and ECMO)
Qualifications
- Current certification through National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Minimum of a master’s degree
