Job Summary

Seeking an experienced PA or NP to perform ultrasound-guided vascular access procedures , including PICC and central venous catheter placement, in an outpatient procedural setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound-guided PICC and central line placement
• Perform IJ, femoral, and other central venous catheter procedures
• Conduct patient assessments and obtain informed consent
• Maintain sterile technique and monitor patients
• Identify and manage procedural complications
• Document procedures in the EMR
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and referring providers

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited PA
• Current North Carolina PA license or eligibility
• DEA registration or eligibility
• BLS & ACLS
• 2+ years of independent ultrasound-guided PICC and/or central venous catheter placement experience
• Strong ultrasound and procedural skills

Preferred

• Interventional Radiology, Vascular Surgery, Critical Care, ED, Hospital Medicine, or Vascular Access experience
• Midline, dialysis catheter, or arterial line placement experience
