The Role

Full‑time Physician Assistant at Berman Health & Wellness, a rapidly growing Functional Medicine Clinic. Report directly to the practice owner/founder. Must thrive in a fast‑paced environment and exhibit strong detail orientation.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete initial medical evaluation on clients with detailed medical history and lab work evaluation.
• Analyze blood testing, write lab letters, and review results with clients in a detailed fashion. Provide supplement recommendations.
• Create macronutrient recommendations and meal plans for clients, accounting for gut health, food sensitivities, and allergies.
• Conduct weekly patient follow‑up.
• Provide concierge service to clients.
• Present nutrition topics to surrounding communities.
• Participate in research and design meetings.
• Conduct in‑person and virtual counseling with clients.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
• Physician Assistant‑Certified License and current license maintenance.
• Continuing education hours and CPR certification kept up to date.
• Detailed understanding of metabolism, vitamin deficiencies, autoimmune disorders, and primary care diagnoses or a willingness to learn.
• Thorough knowledge of nutrition assessment and nutrient requirements for this patient population.
• Openness to functional medicine/integrative medicine training.
• Familiarity with research procedures and protocols desirable.
• Positive relationship with lead physician assistant, medical director, dietitians, vendors, and representatives.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact positively with clients, medical team, and other personnel.
• Conflict resolution skills with respect and confidence.
• At least 1 year of experience preferred.

Type: Full‑time

Salary: $100,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
