• graduate of AMA accredited PA program
• Current Illinois PA license

Position Description:

• Conduct thorough histories and physical exams, assist in diagnosis and management of orthopedic conditions.
• First-assist in surgical procedures across subspecialties such as spine, sports medicine, trauma, or joint reconstruction.
• Initiate and monitor treatment plans, interpret diagnostics, and coordinate follow-up care.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, post-op recovery, and preventative strategies.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, rehab specialists, and other care team members.
• Document all clinical interactions in accordance with EMR guidelines and complianceprotocols.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current state license (or eligibility) and NCCPA certification.
• Prior orthopedic or surgical experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
