Job Summary

Position: Physician Assistant – Correctional Facility (Inmate Medical Care)

Department: Clinic

Compensation

$138,528 - $153,920 per year

Responsibilities

• Deliver acute and emergency medical care in accordance with protocols.
• Consult with physicians and manage patient transfers when clinically indicated.
• Document all findings using the S.O.A.P. method and EMR systems.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and participate in quality improvement efforts.
• Provide cross-coverage and support psychiatric stability assessments.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Completion of an accredited PA program.
• Experience: Previous correctional/detention facility experience, minimum 2 years of experience.
• Licenses/Certifications: Unrestricted current license, certification or registration in state of practice; Current DEA registration; Current lifesaving BLS and PALS certification through AHA, all maintained.
