Position Overview

Physician Assistant – Medicine with Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health, located in South Brooklyn, Brooklyn, NY 11235. This full‑time, regular position (1 shift) offers a salary between $131,127 and $174,836 per year.

Responsibilities

• Obtain comprehensive medical histories, perform thorough physical examinations, and accurately document clinical findings.
• Order, perform, and interpret routine diagnostic tests, including laboratory studies, imaging, and EKGs.
• Monitor patient status, promptly communicate significant clinical changes and diagnostic results to the supervising physician.
• Perform common bedside procedures, such as injections, intravenous line placement, nasogastric and urinary catheterization, and other approved clinical interventions.
• Conduct daily patient rounds, assess clinical progress, and document evaluations and treatment plans in the medical record.
• Coordinate patient care by consulting and referring to appropriate medical and surgical subspecialists as needed.

Qualifications

• Current New York State registration as a Physician Assistant.
• Current certification issued by the NCCPA.

Benefits and Compensation

Annual base salary: $131,127–$174,836, based on a 40‑hour work week and years of state licensure. Total compensation value is estimated at $144,239–$192,319, including salary, 401(k) contributions, and other factors.
