Position
This clinic‑based Nurse Practitioner position focuses on solid tumor and hematology oncology within the Regional Cancer Center. The role involves working a 4×10 or 5×8 schedule, typically 8–5 Monday through Friday, seeing 10–12 patients per day. There is no call obligation.
Responsibilities
- Deliver primary care to solid tumor and hematology‑oncology patients.
- Work a 4×10 or 5×8 schedule; typical hours 8–5 Monday through Friday.
- See approximately 10–12 patients per day.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary cancer care team.
- Provide patient education and care coordination.
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC/Beacon EMR.
Requirements
- New Mexico state licensure or eligibility to obtain.
- Certified nurse practitioner (NP) credential required.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in hematology‑oncology patient management.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary setting.
