PRN Physician Assistant – Kinston, NC
MainStreet Family Care is seeking PRN Physician Assistants to work across multiple clinics in the region.
We provide a high-volume, varied clinical environment, with opportunities to work in urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine.
Responsibilities
- Urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine
- Minor procedures including toenail removals and foreign body removals
- Suturing and splinting
- General orthopedic evaluations and management
- X-ray review (with Radiologist over-read)
- EKG interpretation
- General dermatology, eye complaints, and GYN care
- Treating patients of all ages
- Emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting
Schedule
- Shifts determined approximately two months in advance
- MainStreet Clinic Hours: Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.; Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- KidsStreet Clinic Hours (select locations only): Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.; Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- Hours are subject to change based on company needs, training, float coverage, etc.
Qualifications
- Physician Assistant certification required prior to start date
- Master’s degree or higher required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- EMR and Microsoft Office experience preferred
