TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a seasoned physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our team as a hospitalist APC at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Dickson City, Pennsylvania.
Location
Lehigh Valley Hospital – Dickson City, Pennsylvania.
Schedule
- Shift: 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
- 7-on / 7-off cycle.
- Nightly average admissions census: 4 patients.
Responsibilities
- Manage acute care patients independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Respond to rapid response codes.
- Cover floor calls, primarily on the medical-surgical floor.
- Provide inpatient care as an APC without procedural responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
- Prior hospital medicine or inpatient experience.
- Confidence in managing acute care patients.
