Location: Hagerstown, MD 21742
Pay: $85/hr.
Duration: 07/24/26 to 09/04/26 (possible extension or Temp. to Perm.)
Schedule: 40 hours weekly, 3 pm - 11 pm (Mon - Fri) | No weekends or On-call requirements
Setting: Primary/Occupational health employee clinic
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines
- Perform procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management
- Develop patient care plans, record progress, and ensure continuity of care
- Educate patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions
- Prescribe or recommend treatments, including medications and therapies
- Refer patients to specialists or physicians as needed
- Maintain patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation and records
- Educate and coach nursing staff on best practices
Qualifications
- Current DEA and state prescriptive authority (preferred).
- Current BLS certification (AHA, ARC, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years of Physician Assistant experience in ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice, or emergency department settings.
